  5. Lady Coryell è il primo album discografico del chitarrista jazz statunitense Larry Coryell, pubblicato dalla casa discografica Vanguard Apostolic Records nel giugno del Tracce LP Lato A. Herman Wright – (Larry Coryell) Sunday Telephone – (Larry Coryell) Two Minute Classical – (Larry Coryell).
  6. On Lady Coryell, the year-old Larry Coryell already possessed a virtuoso's technique and a rich harmonic and melodic imagination. He uses these gifts here to build swirling, multi-tracked, oftentimes intensely psychedelic performances that range seamlessly across the jazz and rock landscape.
  7. The album ranges from straight jazz to purposely poorly recorded country tracks (the Dylan- sounding Two Minutes Classical and the opening Grateful Dead-like Herman Right), to the Cream-esque Sunday Telephone and the purely Hendrix-ian title track (much reminiscent of Jimi's /Tides) with its 6- mins+ of searing guitars/5(1).
  8. Larry's guitar is so clear and dominates this disc, as it should be. And you have the great Ron Carter playing on a couple of cuts, what a treat! I really liked the tune "Morning Sickness" very much. It is a slightly slower tempo than some of the other tracks, but Coryell does play /5(6).
